Assessment at UCF
All academic and administrative units at UCF are engaged in the assessment process and have developed mission statements, objectives, and outcome measures to assess and improve programs, operations, and services. Assessment is conducted in response to many external drivers, such as the SACS Criteria for Accreditation, as well as the internal drive to improve. Each department in the Division of Administration and Finance has an appointed Institutional Effectiveness Coordinator who is responsible for designing plans, collecting data, and creating and presenting reports to the University Assessment Committee.
Resources for Coordinators can be accessed through the Office of Operational Excellence and Assessment Support (OEAS).
